ShadowBadger - VS Update 0.6


Hello! Here is the first major update for the vertical slice build, featuring numerous additions and bugfixes, including some highly requested menu options. Next update will include a new model/rig for the bee soldier character, and two more variants of it! I also plan to begin working on the next couple of maps.

CHANGELOG - 0.6

- Updated movement system

  • Momentum is transferred between major in-air actions when changing directions (jumping, dashing)
  • Removed sprint
  • Increased default walking speed to previous sprint value
  • Dash/Slide now share the same input
  • Jump can now be used to cancel dash

- Updated UI

  • Added damage indicator
  • Added sliders for Master Volume, SFX, VFX, and Music
  • Added Mouse sensitivity option
  • Added weapon bob option

- Updated Gameplay

  • Added Mantle Animation
  • Added weapon bob/lowering when near walls
  • Updated Hive Soldier AI
  • Updated Hive Warrior AI (Also fixes stuttering issue when starting boss)
  • Updated TorsoCrab AI (Can cling to walls and ceilings now)

- Updated E1M1 Map

  • Fixed various geometry bugs such as missing textures, checkpoint bugs, etc.
  • Added Encounter exit triggers to account for player skipping optional encounters
  • Added new skybox texture
  • Updated Combat
